HTC Magic in Portugal
Vodafone, which operates mobile operator in Portugal, just announced the expected launch of HTC Magic, the new model equipped with the HTC Google Android. The new phone is so far the only to use the new feature called "Cupcake" with virtual keyboard and a few things.
The unit comes into service in the UK market (in April), Spain, Germany and Italy. Just as occurred with the G1, the Magic will have the exclusive temporarily, and may later be sold by other carriers.
This is a smartphone with compact and appealing design that uses the Android platform and provides a superior use of mobile Internet, offering a wide flexibility of customization through the applications available on Android Market.
The Magic have an HTC touch screen QVGA of 3.2 inches and has a "trackball" and the navigation buttons for quick and easy access. Includes a variety of options for email and Google Mail ™, POP3 and IMAP and Google Talk ™ for instant messaging.
The HTC Magic shows strong capacities to Mobile Internet starting with a Webkit browser optimized for Android. It also has well known applications like Google Maps ™, Google ™ Search and YouTube ™. Additionally, the Android Market can download, as a quick and easy, games and applications using a rapid and reliable network of Vodafone.
